Erwin Javor (Vienna) and Charles Lewinsky (Zurich) discuss the nature of typical jokes with many examples

An event within the framework of the "Kulturstrudel - The Week of Jewish Culture" Zurich, 26th August - 2nd September 2018

Whenever two friends meet Erwin Javor (author of "I'm a Zebra") and Charles Lewinsky, they tell each other Jewish jokes. But, as it happens, it is very rare that one person does not yet know the other person's joke. Most of the time the reaction is: "I know a better one!" And then of course it has to be told. In this program under the main topic "storytelling", the two also discuss the nature of the Jewish joke and its history. What makes him? What sets him apart from anti-Semitic jokes? And is there any such thing as a specifically Jewish humor? You will not only entertain yourself but also the audience.
