"Russkij Regensburg - The Russian speaking population of Regensburg"
University of Regensburg, Institute of History, 2020
Editors: Prof. Klaus Buchenau and Ger Duijzings

Anyone who takes a walk in medieval Regensburg, takes the bus, goes shopping, sits in the beer garden, soon realizes that many of Regensburg's inhabitants have Eastern or Southeastern European roots. Russian is the most important Eastern European language spoken in Regensburg and the most common language after German. The book is the result of a project with students at the Institute for History at the University of Regensburg. The publication includes interviews and stories, also with and from members of the jewish community Regensburg.
