The European Day of Jewish Culture under discussion at the 1st Workshop on the European Itinerary of Jewish Heritage (Oviedo, November 4th and 5th 2008)

Representatives of eleven European countries successfully debated different issues of the EDJC

Already going into it\'s 10th edition this year 2009, the EDJC has established itself firmly as an important highlight of the European cultural agenda. The organizers of the event from Czech Republic, France, Holland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain and Turkey dedicated an intense session to sharing their experiences and to look for ways to further improve and consolidate the event.
Among the most important decisions being taken during the meeting are those referring to the subject matter 2009, -to be chosen by general voting-, and to the graphic image; it was generally agreed that, after nine years of using the same image, changing only the background colour each year, time had come for a renewal.
