Photography contest

On the occasion of the 2011 European Day of Jewish Culture, the AEPJ, together with the “Fondazione Centro di Documentazione Ebraica Contemporanea CDEC Onlus” [CDEC], has launched a Photography Contest on the subject matter

Judaism in the age of new media
New tools of communication, representation and exchange

A jury named by CDEC, will select 30 photographs for the final stage of the competition, from which the winning photograph will be chosen. All 30 finalist photographs will be on exhibition in Milan, on the European Day of Jewish Culture, September 4th 2011 (organizations in each country will set up their own local exhibitions).


An award ceremony will be held in Milan on September 4th 2011, and the winner will receive the Contest Prize of €350, as well as a one day-hospitality for two persons in Milan. Second- and third-ranking photographers will be awarded Honorable Mentions.
