First meeting of the representatives of the Culture Routes of the Council of Europe

Representatives of 20 certified routes participated in the meeting, which took place in Brussels on March 28th 2013

The Brussels office of the Council of Europe was the chosen venue for this first meeting of the representatives of the cultural routes with CoE certification, chaired by the elected spokesman of the routes, Mr. Antonio Barone (Phoenician’s Route).
Among the aims of this meeting were to devise joint strategies for issues of common interest between the routes and to create stronger links between their different levels of governance.
Another important issue is the representation of the routes in the Governing Board and the Committee of Member States of the Council of Europe.
