Stories for Children

Everyone in the area knew Neftali, an elderly man who drove a cart full of books. His friend was his green-eyed horse named Gooseberry. Together, they rode around and sold books. If someone was without money, he or she received a book for free. Furthermore, this man told stories of what he saw with his own eyes and what others had witnessed.
