European Days of Jewish Culture 2021: Dialogue
Date: Sunday September 5th, 2021. However, in several countries events and activities are being planned before and after this date.
In this new year 2021, we are once again getting down to work to organise what we believe will be one of the most ambitious editions of the European Days of Jewish Culture. This year, our festival is framed within the context of the European project NOA (Networks Overcoming Antisemitism). It is under this umbrella, and with the intention of disseminating and promoting positive narratives that highlight the contribution of European Jewry to a more pluralistic and inclusive Europe, that the theme for this year's edition will be:
DIALOGUE
This year the European Days of Jewish Culture will take place under the umbrella of the NOA project (Networks Overcoming Antisemitism), promoting the creation of positive narratives around Jewish culture in Europe. To learn more about the NOA project, please watch this video:

Organising an EDJC2021 activity:

2. Download the graphic materials
By clicking on the following link you can download a ZIP folder that includes the festival poster and the banner, as well as the ttf file to install the "Average" typography. All this is available in several file types and formats and also in editable PSD.
In case you need to edit the poster and you don't have an image editing program like Adobe Photoshop, we can recommend you to use some free online editing software like for instance Photopea.

3. Download the NLI exhibition
A modular design, featuring main text blocks and separate image blocks marked with the name of the panel to which they belong. They should be printed separately and can be hung in whatever arrangement that pleases. They can also be printed as consecutive pages for a brochure, making sure to insert the text files before the image files.
In the folder that you can download after filling in the following form you will find the PDF files in English of all the materials as well as editable files in Adobe Illustrator that you can translate into your local languages and re-edit.
4. Apply for a Printing Grant
The AEPJ will award a maximum of 70 grants of €500.00 each for the purpose of printing the exhibitions and materials developed by the National Library of Israel. Find all the information in this link:
5. Submit your activity
If you already have your activity planned, please send us your details so that we can promote it at European level and give it all the visibility it deserves. Do it by filling in the following form:
6. Spread the word!
A press release is available for you to send to your local media to disseminate your activities as part of the European Days of Jewish Heritage festival. In the downloadable folder below you will find a PDF and a Word version for you to translate and modify according to your local needs.
