Working seminar: Managing Jewish Immovable Heritage

The seminar will be taking place in Krakow (Poland) from April 23rd to 25th 2013

Some 80-85 participants from about 20 different countries will be discussing a wide range of issues regarding the care, maintenance, preservation, use and promotion of Jewish material heritage.
The AEPJ will be represented at this seminar by its general secretary, Mrs. Assumpció Hosta.
The seminar, which will take place at the Krakow Jewish Community Centre, is being convened by the Rothschild Foundation (Hanadiv) Europe, the David Berg Foundation; the Cahnman Foundation, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee and the World Monuments Fund, in cooperation with the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland; the Jewish Community Centre in Krakow; the Galicia Jewish Museum in Krakow; the Taube Foundation; and the European Council of Jewish Communities. The U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad will also have a presence.
