The winning picture of the photographic contest in Italy

In the course of the celebration of the European Day of Jewish Culture 2013, on September 29th, the winner of the fifth edition of the photographic contest "Focus on the Jewish world", this year dedicated to the theme "Nature and the Jewish tradition" was chosen.
The jury, composed by Eva Bassi, Jackie Blanga, Silvia Guastalla, Alberto Jona Falco, Paola Mortara, and AEPJ member Annie Sacerdoti has awarded Giuliana Ghelarducci, from Livorno, the first prize for her photograph “Rebirth”. Special mention of the jury has been awarded to the pictures "Spring of Peace" by Mariangela Braghiera also from Livorno, and "Birkat Hahammah" by Dikla Recanati from Tel Aviv.
