The materials for the European Days of Jewish Culture 2020 are ready!
If you are a national coordinator or a participating institution of the European Days of Jewish Culture, we already have most of the materials for EDJC 2020 ready. This year, in order to properly monitor the use of these resources, we ask you to request the materials you need using the requesting form you can find below.
We will work together to ensure that this Festival continues to promote Jewish heritage, acting as a channel for intercultural dialogue and to promote better knowledge and understanding of European history, creating awareness of cultural diversity and strengthening European citizens' cultural identity.

Webinar on Narratives and Jewish Tourism
On June 10 th, the Route Managers of the AEPJ have attended an online training led by Jeremy Leigh. During this webinar the participants had the chance to reflect about their work on the narrative for the new website, which will be launched next September.
Thanks to this training the AEPJ and it's Scientific Comittee has received many feedback from its members, which we will take in consideration in order to create a website that can reflect our values, our diversity and our creativity. |

Waddesdon Manor is now open
Following the UK Government’s most recent announcement that ticketed outdoor attractions can now open, we are delighted to confirm that Waddesdon Manor will reopen the grounds and car park from Wed 3 June.

Sicily: between Jewish Heritage and Mediterranean Sea

The Jewish Cultural Heritage Route will be launched in Oni, Georgia, with the support of the Israeli House.
The Jewish Cultural Heritage Route will be launched in the city of Oni in western Georgia. Oni is a historic city where Jews lived for centuries before the Soviet Union. In the center of the city is the third-largest synagogue in Georgia, built in the 19th century, which has the status of a cultural monument. There is also a Jewish quarter in the city center, which will be rehabilitated with the Georgia state's support.
At the request of Oni Mayor, Davit Chikvaidze, the Israeli House will be involved in the launch of the Jewish Cultural Heritage Route in the city, and it will soon become one of the most important locations for the Jewish route throughout Georgia. According to Itsik Moshe, the chairman of Israeli House, the new route will be presented in Oni on the 2nd of September and will mark the 125th anniversary of the construction of the synagogue and also mark the European Days of Jewish Culture for the first time. The Haggadah Association was established to preserve and promote Jewish culture and tradition in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They organize tours of Jewish Sarajevo and Multireligious Sarajevo – where you can discover the different religions and Sarajevo’s history. General Sarajevo tours discovering the rich and diverse history of our beautiful city. They also educate tourist guides to be able to lead the Jewish Sarajevo tour and give accurate information about the long Jewish history in B&H. The Haggadah Association tries to preserve Sarajevo’s reputation as The European Jerusalem (Little Jerusalem) because there have been 4 religions living side by side for centuries.
