LAST EVENTS OF THE EUROPEAN DAYS OF JEWISH CULTURE 2015 IN SPAIN

Almost a month after the official date for the EDJC, September 6th, the wide range of activities and events celebrated all over Spain have come to an end this last week-end.

The cities of Ávila, Cáceres, Córdoba and Lucena –all of them members of the Network of Spanish Jewish quarters, have offered locals and visitors a varied program of exhibitions, concerts, guided visits and much more.
Coinciding also with the World Tourism Day on September 27th, Lucena has presented “Harmonies in Sefarad”, a new tourist experience combining guided visit, music and theatre; whereas Córdoba has put the final touch to its impressively extensive program “Sephardic Autumn”, with a concert by Curro Piñana, inspired by poems by the famous 11th century philosopher and poet Ibn Gabirol.
Throughout Spain the events and activities held on occasion of the EDJC have been a huge success, having attracted a great number of visitors in all participating towns and cities.
