International Holocaust Remembrance Day in the Parliament of Catalonia

The Catalan President, Mr. Carles Puigdemont, the President of the Catalan Parliament, Mrs. Carme Forcadell, the Mayoress of Barcelona, Mrs. Ada Colau have presided the commemoration of the Holocaust Remembrance Day in the Catalan Parliament. Representatives of several associations, from public and private institutions, also joined this very moving event, in which family and friends among the millions of Jews and other victims of the Holocaust were recalled. Mrs. Colau reminded that “we cannot drop our guard against anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial, nor to the new forms of racism which are growing up in Europe and worldwide.”
