Heritage For Future - networking & funding of Cultural Heritage
As the European Year of Cultural Heritage (EYCH) is coming to its end and before the closing ceremony in Vienna on 6th and 7th December, the organizers would like to address the question of sustainable support for cultural heritage in Europe and to highlight, together with representatives of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and Europa Nostra, the potential of European networking and funding as well as the legacy of the European Year of Cultural Heritage.
Today the "#Heritageforfuture" conference in Luxembourg has started, organized by the European Desk of Creative Europe of Luxembourg and the European Institute of Cultural Routes. In the program the Jewish heritage will be very present. This afternoon, at 6:30 p.m., the President of the AEPJ, François Moyse, will present the Luxembourg Jewish heritage within the framework of the UNESCO meetings. Tomorrow, Víctor Sorenssen, director of the AEPJ, will present, together with Stefanie Thomas, of Cumediae, the Parallel Traces project: A new lens on jewish heritage.
