The Jewish Country House II: La Grande bourgeoisie juive à la campagne - réseaux, familles, patrimoine

A 2 days' program, has been celebrated in Kerylos (France), with a great success. The conference organized by the University of Oxford, Le Centre de Monuments Nationaux the France, and the National Trust organization of UK, with the cooperation of AEPJ and representatives from UK, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany and Belgium have been working and debating together about the details to launch the Jewish Country Houses project, creating the necessaires criteria for the European cooperation and continue to work on the research done lately about the families' life, the architectural and artistic aspects of the buildings, its collections and archives. Manors, Chateaux and country houses along those different countries mapping a route that will help to fulfil one more aspect of the European Cultural Life over the last centuries.
