Meeting of the Association of European Jewish Museums in Rome
The Jewish Museum of Rome has been the venue for the annual conference of the AEJM between November 20th to 23rd 2010.
Coinciding with its 50th anniversary, the Jewish Museum of Rome has hosted this year’s AEJM conference, which was held under the subject matter “Past and Present: the contemporary role of Jewish museums in Europe”.
An intense and varied programme awaited the attendants of the conference, which combined lectures, workshops and panel discussions with guided tours and visits.
The General Meeting of AEJM members and associates was held on November 22nd, and the AEPJ, represented by Mrs. Claude Bloch, Mrs. Annie Sacerdoti and Mrs. Assumpció Hosta, was happy to invite the assistants to join the project European Day for Jewish Culture in the forthcoming year 2011.
